Early Years Paediatric First Aid Course
This comprehensive 12 hour paediatric first aid course has been designed specifically for individuals who provide care for babies and children under 8 years old. The course has been designed in accordance with the UK resuscitation guidelines (2005) and meets Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); Pre School Learning Alliance & Ofsted requirements.
This 12 hour course is delivered over two days and all Learners will learn a high level of practical skill and theoretical knowledge, so that they can confidently and competently manage situations that may arise when caring for children and babies.
This course is ideal for registered Child Minders in England and Wales and is suitable for any worker that provides care for babies and children under 8 years old, including parents, nannies, au pairs, nursery workers and playgroup leaders. This course may also be used as evidence for those working towards an vocational qualification in Child Care and Education.
Assessment and Certification
Learners are continually assessed throughout the course.
Early Years Paediatric First Aid at Work certificates are valid for three years. We send out an automatic reminder three months prior to the expiry date of the certificate. Certificates can be renewed by attending a Early Years paediatric first aid course
